NOLLAIG NA MBAN EVENT

Community spirit was certainly on display at the Nollaig na mBan celebration held in the New Inn Community Centre last Saturday, where a small but enthusiastic group gathered to make a meaningful contribution to local charity Cuan Saor.

The morning was filled with a variety of engaging workshops, including breathwork with Collette Moloney, counselling and reiki with Janine Meadley, a women’s health session led by Nicola Ryan, a flower workshop hosted by Olivia Ryan, and candle making with Sandra Quinn. Attendees enjoyed delicious food and coffee courtesy of Solas Coffee Dock, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere.

Olivia Ryan and Amy Quirke expressed their sincere thanks to all who supported and attended the event, highlighting the empowering and uplifting nature of the workshops. Participants left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and proud of their creations.

Thanks to the generosity of those present, a total of €765 was raised and donated to Cuan Saor. The organisers extended their heartfelt gratitude for the community’s support, emphasising the positive impact such events have on both participants and beneficiaries alike.
