ROCKWELL ROVERS GAA CLUB MEMBERSHIP 2026


This coming Thursday March 26th, Cathy Fitzgerald and Ronan Dempsey will be in the Clubhouse from 6.30-8pm. If anyone needs support setting up or accessing Foireann, please drop in or contact them. They can also go through the membership options available to you.

All members must be registered by 1st April to be eligible for All Ireland ticket draw and voting.

NEW INN VOICES

 

New Inn Voices celebrate winning 1st prize in both the Community Choir and Church choir competitions at Limerick Choral Festival recently. All the hard work and commitment paid off. We are all very proud!

Additionally, the Woman’s group will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, March 16th, at 8pm in the NICC. All are welcome.

Starting on Holy Thursday (April 2), Penance Service in New Inn Church is at 7.30pm, before the Last Supper Mass in New Inn (only) at 8pm.

Good Friday (i.e., April 5), Liturgy of the Passion at 3pm in New Inn and Stations of the Cross at 7.30pm in Knockgraffon.

Holy Saturday Easter Vigil mass in New Inn at 7.30pm.

Predeceased by her husband Maurice, daughter Noeleen (Murphy), brother Billy and sister Dodie (Gallagher). She will be deeply missed by her loving son Gerard, daughter Caroline, daughter in law Toni, sons in law Dave and Billy, grandchildren Darren, Rebekah, Kaysey, Dominique (and her husband Joe), Lauren, Georgia, Ethan and Joshua, her three great grandchildren Sophia, Daisy and Ruby, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. May she rest in Peace!

James died peacefully at home with his family. Predeceased by his father Jimmy Landers. Sadly missed by his loving wife Sharon, daughters Aoife and Shauna, grandchildren Cayden, Priya and Aylamae, sons in law David and Tom, mother Joan, brothers John and Derek, sister Lizzy, Mary and Siobhan, uncles Tommy, Christy and Jimmy, aunts, Ellen, Mary and Monica, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The funds were raised through the club’s raffle, held alongside the annual Golf Classic event. The committee wishes to extend sincere thanks to all who participated in the raffle and contributed prizes. The generosity and support from the community are greatly appreciated, making a meaningful difference for this important cause.

The Rockwell Rovers Golf Classic committee along with members of Rockwell Rovers GAA club were delighted to hand over a cheque for €5,000 to the Dillon Quirke Foundation last week, with Dan Quirke accepting the donation on behalf of the Foundation. SINCERE SYMPATHY 

Is extended to the family of the late Vera Power, College Avenue and formerly of Knocklucas, Clonmel. Vera passed away peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Winifred. Vera will be deeply missed by her devoted family: Michael, William, and Caitríona, as well as her brothers Paddy and Willie, sisters Una (Creed), Bernie (Phelan), Catherine “Kitten” (Cronin), and Bridget (Sutherland), along with her cherished nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

SINCERE SYMPATHY 

Rockwell Rovers GAA Club wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the Conway family on the passing of Joe Conway of Dungarvan. Joe played a huge part in the club’s success in 1987. He served as manager and coach of both the Intermediate and U21B football teams, which captured West and County titles that memorable year. Joe kept in contact with many of the players over the years and always maintained a strong interest in club affairs and updates. He will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis.
